Dan has been working in the dental field for over 15 years. During his time in the dental world, he has obtained a BA in Biology from Hofstra University and an AAS in Dental Hygiene from Farmingdale State College. He values the vast knowledge he acquired during his formative years as a dental assistant working with all the dental specialists, as well as the clinical skills he developed under the excellent guidance of his first few mentors. Those experiences have greatly impacted how he approaches having his own patients to care for. His love for the field comes from seeing progress in a patient's health by providing treatment to prevent oral diseases and performing non-surgical therapies to address periodontal disease.
Dan prides himself on providing quality work, education, and transparency of information to his patients. Being a dental hygienist means having the patient's best interest at heart. With more and more compounding scientific evidence connecting a patient's oral environment to their mental and systemic health, it is of utmost importance for him to improve his patient's oral health to have a healthier body overall.
As the Dental Hygiene Director it is Dan's mission to have his hygiene team be at the forefront of preventative care, excel in periodontal care, stay ahead of curve with education, provide a positive dental culture, and to push the dental hygiene profession forward to provide exceptional service to the dental community, beyond the standard of care.
Dan loves traveling and going to the movies with his beautiful and loving wife. He treasures the time he spends with his wonderful daughter, watching her learn and grow, holding her hand along the way. His family means the world to him.
"The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team." - Phil Jackson
