Dr. Karen Kwak graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and then went on to complete a general practice residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Her passion for working with children guided her to pursue a pediatric dental residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her extensive specialty training included treatment using nitrous oxide and advanced behavior management skills.
She is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the New Jersey Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the New Jersey Dental Association. She is board-eligible in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She understands that children have their own unique needs and personalities. Dr. Karen has been with Rand Center for Dentistry for over 5 years as an associate. Her goal and joy are to help every child find a special way to keep their smiles healthy while having fun!
